Assist: Suicide Intervention This 16 hour (2 day) workshop is aimed at reducing the risk of suicidal behaviour. The workshop explores many of the different myths and attitudes surrounding suicide, as well as the strategies used by people to support individuals in crisis. Suicide intervention is mandatory for all employees working in Children’s Services. Employees are required to obtain certification within 6 months of employment and to recertify every 3 years. |
